PAB City President Training

Since it’s initiation, Pick a Book India has seen a surging interest among both booklovers and non-readers alike, resulting in the book club becoming a roaring success. Pick a Book grew and flourished quickly, setting roots in a number of regions in India. With more and more members joking the ranks, Pick a Book’s regional clubs are delighted to expand, allowing for more beneficial bookish experiences for all.

This burgeoning success of Pick a Book called for more club leaders to handle the running of the club in the different regions across India. With this in mind, Pick a Book decided to host a two-day training session for City Presidents.
The training session was held in Hyderabad at Exotic. Participants were treated to a retreat close to nature where they could truly sit back, relax and unwind, facilitating the chance to really connect with books and the training. The two-day program offered participants an opportunity to witness what Pick a Book really is, how it functions, and what sets it apart. Besides getting an in-depth knowledge of Pick a Book, participants of the training session also enjoyed a slew of other engaging activities and group learnings. The training allowed all participants to understand what being a City President entails and the responsibilities that the position had to confer.

All in all, the Pick a Book City Presidents training session was a successful campaign where participants were treated to plenty of interesting takeaways and motivational moments to spur them forward on their journey with Pick a Book. We sincerely hope that training session is the start of a fruitful journey for our participants where they discover their true calling and potential really lie. We also hope that this training session is one of the many sessions we are to hold, heralding the growth and success of Pick a Book to all corners of the world.
