Pick a Book Juniors - Vijayawada Grand Lauch

Children of today are the leaders of tomorrow’. We had with us a chance to create and nurture the leadership of this generation and that was exactly the reason we wanted to initiate Pick a Book Juniors Club. We launched the club on 20th Dec 2020 with 21 juniors,  over 200+ attendees marking the presence of Institutional heads, teachers, parents and children from various schools. 

We received immense support from our PAB family as we welcomed National Presidents, City Presidents and RoHs from over 10 regions, which serves as a reminder as to how our growing global community is inspiring change. 

The most amazing thing for us is how the kids felt empowered and excited when they got to handle different parts of the launch event and their happy parents telling us how proud they are, of their kids. The guest presenter was a young author Rohan Zuckerberg Gupta, who, at the age of 9 has authored a book titled ‘101 Ways Kids Can Save the Planet’. 

The book presentation was very well received, inspiring the kids to get on to their writing and reading journey. We, as City Presidents, feel delighted to welcome Pick a Book Juniors to Vijayawada and take on the responsibility of nurturing young minds, one at a time.
