Pick a Book Sri Lanka Successfully Conducts 5th Flip Side Webinar

Just last week, Pick a Book conducted its 5th webinar within The Flip Side series where 3 Pick a Book speakers are featured where they shared insights from 3 outstanding books.

The topic of discussion was the importance of surrounding yourself with positive company for the benefit of personal improvement. The discussion centered around the importance of surrounding yourself with the right kind of people and learning to positively influence friends and company.

The episode featured Glenn Lord who shared valuable insight from ‘Who's In Your Room?’ by Dr, Ivan Misner, Satchin Semage shared his thoughts on the book ‘Talking to Strangers’ by Malcolm Gladwell and last but not least, Randula Wijesignhe spoke on Dale Carnegie’s holy grail book ‘How to Win friends and Influence People’.

The programme was moderated by Sharon Mascarenhas who isn’t unknown to our Sri Lankan audiences.

This programme is seen as important, especially during this time as a way to build motivation among our audience as we are still coming out of lockdowns due to the global viral pandemic.
