PICK A BOOK TAKES ROOT IN INDIA

With the immense success of the Pick a Book reading sessions in Sri Lanka, Pick a Book takes great pride in going global.

Pick a Book has widened the passion for reading and literature with its launch of the first international club in India.

The first ever official global launch of Pick a Book was held in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India on the 8th of March 2020. The inaugural event was graced by the PAB founders Ragulan Tharmakulasingam and KVT Ramesh and the event saw 90 members getting inducted to the Pick a Book club from Vijayawada

The PAB launch in India also featured two book sessions where the founders Ragulan Tharmakulasingam presented the book Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and KVT Ramesh presented the book Five Live Languages.

Needless to say, the event was a massive success and Pick A Book hopes to spread the wings of literacy even more by looking to launch reading sessions across 40 cities in India.
