PAB Launches its First Club in Vijayawada India

Pick A Book is a social movement that aspires to inspire people to take on the habit of reading and learn from the many lessons found in books. What started off as a platform within an office quickly garnered a lot of interest, particularly from corporate companies which were keen on the idea of introducing this concept among their working staff as well. Therefore, PAB launched itself as a book club where participants will read a book of their choice and present it before an audience wherein they will talk about the lessons, stories and experiences embedded within that book. This would be followed up by an interactive question and answer session.

PAB sessions have inspired many people to rediscover their love for books. It has motivated non readers to start reading, given avid readers a chance to read more and share that knowledge with more people and it has given those who have no time to actually read to still benefit from the lessons in books. PAB soon launched Junior reading sessions along with its launch in schools and universities too.

A very huge milestone for the PAB movement was when it spread its wings overseas as well. We are delighted to announce that we have now officially launched our very first PAB club in Vijayawada, India with 30 members. Our City Presidents and Jai and Vishal and the club is due to kick off very soon.

At the moment, PAB is operating in three countries, Sri Lanka, India and Singapore. Slowly but surely, we aim to make PAB a global movement that will inspire people to rediscover the world of books. Through this, we hope to bring about a positive change in an individual, a company, a society, a country and the world at large.
