- Pick a Book is not a reader’s club, a reader’s social club, book club, book review club or of similar nature.
- Pick a Book is scheduled sessions where a group of professionals gathers and present and introduce a book as it is that they have discovered and share the knowledge they have gleaned with the group.
- The objective of Pick a Book is to encourage and inculcate the habit of reading. Group members do not present any book wholly nor is a book read in the group itself.
- All books that are presented at the Pick a Book sessions are sold by our Official Reading Partners at the venue so that participants get the opportunity to purchase the newly introduced book immediately.
- The presenters of the Pick a Book group come up with their preferred book of choice to present to the group at each session. Pick a Book’s involvement in choosing the book that is to be presented is very minimal.
